Prayers go out to the family of Senator John McCain as it was just reported that he has passed away.
McCain was battling a year long brain cancer otherwise known as Glioblastoma and just yesterday discontinued treatment. According to his family his age played a part in his decision to stop treatment as well as the fact that he surpassed his survival expectations.
McCain was a Six-Term Senator and also the Republican Nominee for the 2008 presidential race.
