The 1st Annual Let Me Be Great Children’s Yoga Back to School Bash will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019. At the Bash, children will receive free school supplies, enjoy free food, and enjoy games.
Your help for the Back to School Bash is needed. The event envisions every child having the best learning opportunities possible, beginning with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. This vision can be hampered for many families by already stretched budgets. The Back to School Bash will provide many students in the community with the supplies they need to succeed this school year. Their goal is to give away school supplies to over 200 Kindergarten to 12th grade students in the Hampton Roads Area with and without disabilities. Another goal of this event is to have 20 Special Education teachers receive many of the everyday essential items needed in their special education classrooms. These include items include, but are not limited to; tissues, hand sanitizer, and adaptable items to accommodate our special needs children. This is a public event.
