Over the weekend, Michelle Obama's When We All Vote organization stopped through Newport News, VA with their Voter Registration Block Party. The event included many special guest: Award Winning Journalist April Woodard, Motivational speaker & Political Activist Jeff Johnson, Congressman Bobby Scott, School Board Member John Eley & was hosted by our own Ambie Renee & DJ Rick Geez.
Over 100 people were able to get registered during this three-hour event, just days ahead of the October 15th registration deadline to vote in next month's General Election.
When We All Vote is a non-profit, non-partisan organization initiated by former First Lady, Michelle Obama. Its purpose is to ensure every eligible American is registered to vote because, of course, every vote matters.
