This beef has been going on for years - about 11 long years.
Even as recent as 2019, Nick Cannon referred to Eminem as the 'KKK of this generation' in the Canceled: Invitation track.
It all started back in 2009 over their respective relationships with Mariah Carey. A series of tracks were put out:
Bagpipes from Baghdad - "Mariah, what ever happened to us?/ Why did we have to break up?" he raps before adding, "Nick, you had your fun, I've come to kick you in your sack of junk." Nick responded through a post on Tumblr and Mariah Carey seemingly responded with her song Obsessed - "Why you so obsessed with me? Boy, I wanna know, lyin' that you're sexin' me; When everybody knows, it's clear that you're upset with me. Oh oh oh, finally found a girl that you couldn't impress. Last man on the earth, still couldn't get this."
At this point, neither of the rappers are with Carey and in an interview with Fat Joe, Nick Cannon revealed he just wants to squash the whole thing. Check it out below.
So Fat Joe has agreed to assist in getting the conversation started between the two and hopefully he does because we don't need any extra negativity in this crazy year.
