It's no secret that the community was not satisfied with the decision to only pursue charges against one of the three officers involved in the case of Breonna Taylor's death. Two officers were cleared of their actions that night and the other, former officer Brett Hankison, has officially been charged with 3 counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
Based on Kentucky Attorney General Cameron's remarks in the case of Breonna Taylor, a member of the grand jury filed a motion to release the proceedings of the grand jury. This could indicate the AG Cameron's comments made in his Sept 23rd announcement were not indicative of what the grand jury actually saw.
According to a Kentucky State Police ballistics report, it doesn't support the AG's claim that Breonna Taylor's boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, shot former Officer Hankison. This could change the entire outcome of the case because the charges (and lack there of) are based on the claim that Walker shot at police first. As of now, there is no proof that Walker fired a shot at Hankison.
