In one of the most strategic artist-led brand moves we’ve seen in a while, the 757's own Pusha T is bringing the 757 flavor to the coffee world with his latest venture, Grindin. Inspired by the Clipse’s iconic 2002 track, the brand will give fans a high-caffeine kick starting with a soft launch this month in Los Angeles.
Starting November 16, early birds in LA can grab a taste of the first Grindin blend at Café Tropical, from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Alongside the coffee, fans can also get their hands on some exclusive Grindin x Carhartt WIP collab gear—so it’s safe to say this coffee brand isn’t just about the caffeine hit; it’s about lifestyle too. If you’re out at Camp Flog Gnaw, keep an eye out for both the coffee and the merch, adding an extra dose of Pusha T’s style to the festival scene.
The 757-born rapper’s foray into coffee isn’t just a quick cash grab. With plans to launch a unique, King Push-certified blend in 2025 and a broader rollout across the U.S., Grindin aims to be a premium but accessible coffee choice that blends his entrepreneurial grind with a taste of hip-hop culture. And the timing couldn’t be better for Clipse fans, as the duo’s new album, Let God Sort ‘Em Out, produced by Pharrell, is also in the works—a long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s Til the Casket Drops.
Pusha T has always repped Virginia’s 757, whether through his music or his savvy brand moves, and Grindin looks to be the latest way he’s bringing that vibe nationwide.
