Food Lion Recalling Prepared Salad Kits, Possible Listeria Contamination

Food Lion is issuing a recall on two prepared salad kits due to possible listeria contamination.

The vendor for Cobb and Chef's Salad Kits alerted the store the products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. According to Food Lion, affected products could have been purchased from the deli department at all Food Lion locations between Dec. 26, 2021 through Jan. 10, 2022. They would also have a sell-by date of Dec. 30, 2021 through Jan. 10, 2022.

Food Lion says people who bought the kits should not consume them and can return them to their local Food Lion store for a refund equal to double the purchase price in accordance with Food Lion's "double your money back guarantee."
