Saweetie better quit playing. Her album has been delayed for a very long time now. Back during Powerhouse when I spoke to her, she said things were being finalized, however, still no album. But she is letting her fans know the updates with her album. She says it is still coming. Saweetie hopped on social media to explain to her fans about the delay. According to The Jasmine Brand, Saweetie posted in her IG stories saying, "These past couple of years have been a growing experience for me as an artist, human, but most importantly a WOMAN." Saweetie went on to say, "I have realized my purpose with the platform God has given me which is why I have taken my time with releasing music this time around. Through hours of self-reflection I have realized that Pretty B.*.*.*.H Music is not an album—it’s a movement. It’s a culture. It’s a language. It’s a lifestyle. We not rushing art, we taking our time! This ain’t no microwave sh*t! It’s baking & it will definitely be worth the taste." Well, she needs to release that thing soon because the way these other female rappers are popping on the scene and making noise, we hope Saweetie can keep up.
