.@i6ix9ine sued over concert & threatned in jail by gang members #dablock

Tekashi 6ix9ine is being sued by a promoter for failing to appear at multiple gigs.

If that sounds familiar, it’s because just last month, the MTA Booking Agency went after Tekashi for disparaging its name and failing to hold up his end of the bargain after receiving nearly a million dollars in show advances. Now, Hits Before Fame and DMV Events are suing Tekashi for $500,000, saying that’s what they’re out after he failed to show up at a Howard University Homecoming show, for which he was already paid $50,000. Promoters say the other $450,000 comes from loss of ticket sales, marketing expenses, rent and incidental expenses.

To add insult to injury, he canceled just 35 minutes before he was due to go on stage. Later that night, fans who were turned away saw on social media that he'd chosen to attend a radio station-sponsored concert in the New York area instead. (TMZ)
