supplies to include paper, pencils, folders, highlighters, crayons, tissue and much more.
Patrons will have access to the free products while supplies last. In addition to giving away
free school supplies, there will be carnival games, food, raffle drawings and family fun.
“Education is the foundation for Rouse’s House...the carnival gives us a chance to make
education fun and exciting for students and parents as they prepare to return to school and to
be able to provide for educators as well makes it even more worth it. It’s going to be a great
event for all to enjoy. I’m excited and can’t wait,” Aaron Rouse expressed recently.
In the event that there is inclement weather, the Back 2 School Carnival will be held at Seatack
Recreation Center (141 S Birdneck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23451). For more information on

Rouse’s House
Formed in 2017, Rouse’s House was established with the mission of providing educational tools
and highlighting education as the foundation to success by exposing the youth and young adults
in the community to a broader world of learning. Rouse’s House has successfully collaborated
with community partners who encourage, support, and believe in the same objectives in which
the organization was founded. While the foundation is still growing, much of its success is
birthed from volunteer dedication with large goals to include expansion into more communities
as well as providing scholarships.
