Canadian Prime MinisterJustin Trudeau apologized again on Thursday as more photos of him wearing blackface and brownface makeup surfaced.
As of Thursday, Trudeau said he was "deeply sorry" for the three known times he wore blackface or brownface – as a student in the 1990s and in 2001 when he was a teacher at a private prep school.
The photos have some wondering about Trudeau's future as Canada's prime minister, as he's up for re-election next month.
Jagmeet Singh, a Sikh and the leader of the left-leaning New Democratic Party in Canada, wondered who is the real Trudeau? “Is it the one behind closed doors, the one when the cameras are turned off that no one sees? Is that the real Mr. Trudeau? Because more and more, it seems like it is.” (The New York Times)
