.@2chainz looks to raise awareness about voter eligibility in new PSA.

Fresh off aVerzuzbattle with Rick Ross, the Georgia rapper wants to raise awareness about voting rights and to clear up the misconception that former inmates are unable to vote. Basically, the situation varies state to state but many incarcerated individuals have their voting rights restored upon release. Either way, it doesn’t hurt to check your eligibility and register to vote. The PSA comes as a part of Michelle Obama's "When We All Vote" campaign.

2 Chainz said, "This election touches everybody, from people of color, to young people as well as people who were formerly incarcerated… The elected officials we are voting for make decisions on stuff we've been seeing play out in our communities every day, like police brutality. Now is the time to make our voices heard loud and clear."
