After 20 years, Public Enemy have reunited with Def Jam to release a new album in the fall -- What You Gonna Do When the Grid Goes Down.

The album is set to drop on September 25th. It will include “Fight the Power: Remix 2020,” which debuted at the BET Awards back in June and features Nas, Rapsody, Black Thought, YG, Jahi and Questlove

PE have always been known for messages about social injustices, revolution and racial equality -- and their new music will feature lyrics that touch on the global protests over the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. Listen to the new single now onYouTube

Chuck D. couldn't be more excited to be back home with the Def Jam fam. He says, "Cultural Institutions are important. Being an integral part of one is an honor bestowed and to uphold... Public Enemy songs are forever sonic prints in the sands of time. And it’s time -- it’s necessary -- to bring the noise again."
