The House has passed the Senate's version of the latest stimulus bill.
President Biden will sign the bill on Friday. It passed the House strictly along party lines, with one Democrat voting against and no Republicans voting for it.
The bill authorizes $1400 stimulus checks to people earning less than $75,000/year. It also provides direct aid to states to help offset costs related to COVID prevention, as well as money to help get schools open and for vaccine distribution.
Republicans objected to numerous provisions in the bill that they say are not related directly to COVID relief. (USA Today)
