The wait is almost over for DJ Khaledโs Father of Asahd album -- and it will have oneย veryย special guest.
Khaled clued fans in on one of the songs heโs most excited for in an open letter about โHigher.โ His collaboration with Nipsey Hussle and John Legend was one of the last records Nipsey worked on before his passing. Khaled says he has the familyโs full blessing to put out the music video they shot just days before Nipseyโs death.
Khaled wrote, โThe very title of the song reminds us that vibrating on a 'Higher'ย level was the essence of Nipseyโs soul. It is in this spirit, of moving forward, of preserving his mission, that. I, my co-writers, producers and label partners are donating 100 percentย of all of our proceeds from 'Higher'ย to Nipseyโs children,Emani and Kross.โ
