Drive-thru Voter Registration Event
"No Voter Left Behind"
When : Saturday, September 19th , 2020 – 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Where : The Mount Portsmouth Campus (parking lot) 900 Portsmouth Blvd. Portsmouth, VA 23704
Our objective is to solicit people to sign up as registered voters who are not
already registered to vote. We want to increase the number of eligible Americans who
are registered to vote.
Citizens will drive up to the Voter Registration site to fill out an application (given
by the Portsmouth Board of Elections. There will be approximately 10-15 volunteers at
the event. There will be two (2) tables that will have 1-2 volunteers working each table,
while the other volunteers will be assisting voters with registering at their cars, crowd
control (if necessary), passing out food & passing out small gifts (donated gift cards).
All volunteers will be wearing masks and gloves.
