Busta Rhymes comes through with another banger for the summer alongside BIA.
On Friday, June 23, the veteran MC released his new single "Beach Ball" featuring BIA. The Hitmaka-produced track has Busta Buss and the "London" rapper trading verses over a bass-heavy instrumental. The two artists also teamed up for the official music video. Directed by Michael Garcia, Busta and BIA drop their rhymes with a Miami Beach backdrop while a plethora of artists make cameos in the background. Rappers CJ, Cae Cartier, Spliff Star, Rick Ross, We The Best super producer DJ Khaled and dembow artist El Alfa pop up in the tropical visuals.
This is the latest collaboration Busta Rhymes has delivered this year. He previously teamed up with Coi Leray for her "Players" (Remix) and Bilal for "Murda" from the "Godfather of Harlem" TV series. It also comes as the New York is set to be honored in a major way.
BET just announced that Busta Rhymes will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards 2023. In addition to BIA and Coi, other artists like Cutty Ranks, Dexta Daps, M.O.P., Rah Digga, Scar Lip, Spice, Supercat, Swizz Beatz and more will hit the stage to honor Busta and his iconic legacy in Hip-Hop.
