Ice Cube makes a major comeback with his brand-new album.

On Friday, November 22, the West Coast legend delivered his 11th studio LP Man Down via Lench Mob Records. The rapper-filmmaker serves up 19 tracks including his lead singles "It's My Ego" and "Ego Maniacs'" with Busta Rhymes and Killer Mike. Cube also recruited a mixture of rap veterans to contribute to the project including his Mount Westmore crew Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, and E-40 as well as Death Row signee October London, Kurupt, Xzibit, B-Real of Cypress Hill, comedian Mike Epps and more.

“Being in the game for almost 40 years, I’ve seen waves come and go,” Cube told Bootleg Kev about the album last week. “Around the Laugh Now, Cry Later record, right before that record I was like, ‘When I pick up an Anita Baker record, I want it to sound like Anita Baker' ... I felt like Ice Cube fans are the same way. When they pick it up, they want it to be authentic, quintessential Ice Cube. That’s what I’ve been worrying about delivering… That’s what I been focused on — doing records that are totally me.”

Man Down comes six years after he dropped his 2018 album Everythang's Corrupt. Prior to that, Cube hadn't released a project since his 2010 LP I Am The West. Regardless of his lengthy gaps in releases, Ice Cube still comes with fresh, hard-hitting rhymes on his new album that will satisfy his loyal fans.
