Yella Beezy has been arrested for his alleged connection to the death of rapper MO3.

On Thursday night, March 20, KDFW Fox 4 reported the Texas artist was apprehended by police in Dallas after he was indicted by a grand jury in Dallas County earlier this week. Beezy, born Markies Conway, was booked into a jail in the area and charged with capital murder charge while remuneration. Police believe the "That's On Me" rapper hired a hitman to kill MO3, born Melvin Noble, in November 2020. The hitman, who was identified as Kewon Dontrell White, murdered MO3 in broad daylight while on Interstate 35.

MO3 was driving on the freeway when White pulled up in front of his car. White was wearing a black ski mask when he approached MO3's car with a gun. The rapper tried to run but White fired several deadly shots into his back. Police eventually identified White and arrested him a month after the shooting. He was charged with murder and is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence for firearms charges related to the shooting.

According to jail records, Yella Beezy's bail has not been set yet. He hasn't commented on the situation as of this report. It was all good just a week ago, though. Yella Beezy had just celebrated the success of his breakthrough hit "That's On Me" and the remix going 2x platinum. The remix features 2 Chainz, T.I., Jeezy, Rich The Kid, Boosie Badazz and Trapboy Freddy. He also teased some new music called "Blame It On Me." Check out the snippet below.
