Looks like Tekashi 6ix9ine just took another L—this time in court. A federal judge has ordered the rainbow-haired rapper to cough up $250,000 after breaching a contract for a 2018 Howard University homecoming gig.
According to court docs, the event was sold out and hosted by Hits Before Fame and After Hours, but 6ix9ine skipped it last minute and hit the stage instead at Power 105’s Powerhouse concert in New Jersey. Yup, same night. Different crowd.
Promoters tried to claim defamation too, after 6ix9ine publicly said he never got paid to perform. But the judge wasn’t buying that part, saying those comments were actually directed at his then-manager, not the event organizers.
Still, the no-show cost him a quarter mil. That’s a high price for ghostin’ the culture at Howard.
