Wu-Tang Clan & Mathematics Drop New LP 'Black Samson The Bastard Swordsman'

All the living members of Wu-Tang Clan have reunited for a brand-new album.

On Friday, April 25, Mathematics and Wu-Tang Clan dropped their new album Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman. The 12-track project, executive-produced by Mathematics, features contributions from RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and Cappadonna. The iconic rap group's latest installment of their “Wu-Tang the Saga Continues…” collection also features guest appearances from Benny The Butcher, Kxng Crooked, RJ PAYNE, 38 Spesh, Kool G Rap, Nicole Bus, Ralph McDaniels of Run-D.M.C. and more.

"Wu-Tang has always been about pushing boundaries—musically, artistically, and culturally," Mathematics said about the album.

"With ‘Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman,’ I’m giving fans not just an album, but a piece of history—something truly one of a kind," he continued. "This is more than music; it’s innovation, storytelling, and legacy all in one. I am excited for everyone to hear the music and see the artwork around this album.”

Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman is the first album featuring all nine members since they released A Better Tomorrow in 2014. Since then, the New York-based rap collective delivered their 2017 LP The Saga Continues. Mathematics also produced on the aforementioned album, which contains 18 tracks featuring collaborations with Redman, Chris Rivers and the late Sean Price.
