A slew of top-charting artists are set to perform at several events leading up to the culture's biggest night.
The 2025 BET Awards are going down on Monday, June 9, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. BET's annual award show will feature numerous performances during the live broadcast, including Lil Wayne, GloRilla, Teyana Taylor, Playboi Carti, and Leon Thomas. The show will also have a special tribute to BET's beloved series "106 & Park" featuring performances by Mr. 106 & Park himself Bow Wow, Amerie, B2K, Jim Jones, Mya, T.I., Ledisi, Keyshia Cole, and more surprise guests.
Legendary artists Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Kirk Franklin, and Snoop Dogg will all be in the building to receive the BET Ultimate Icon Award. The show will also have presenters including Stevie Wonder, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, Quinta Brunson, Kerry Washington, Keke Palmer, Tyler Perry, LeToya Luckett-Coles and DeVon Franklin.
Leading up to the awards show, fans can catch even more performances from their favorite artists at the BET Experience. The string of events will last for three days with concerts by numerous artists. On Sunday, June 8, The Roots will take over the Hollywood Bowl for its "Class of '95" concert featuring Lil' Kim, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, DJ Quik, E-40, Goodie Mob, Havoc, Raekwon, Method Man & Redman. R&B legends Jagged Edge, Donell Jones and Eric Bellinger will also hit the stage for a night of timeless R&B at the YouTube Theater.
Before the show begins on Monday night, more artists will perform at the BETX Fan Fest on June 7 and June 8. The two-day event is headlined by Mustard and GloRilla on the main stage along with other performers at the 106 & Park stage and Club Eden. Look out for performances by BossMan Dlow, Crime Mob, Mario, Amerie, and Anycia. In the hours before the show, Terrence J and Pretty Vee will host the “Red Carpet Live Show” featuring performances by 803 Fresh, GELO, Honey Bxby, Jordan Adetunji, Laila!, Larry June, The Alchemist, Mario, Rob49, Shop Boyz, Ying Yang Twins, Trillian, and a special performance by Lil’ Kim. Spice of Jamaica and Moliy of Ghana will also hit the stage together for a special moment. 2 Chainz is also expected to exclusively premiere a new music video during the awards show.
There will also be a celebrity basketball game hosted by Bow Wow, featuring Lola Brooke as audience correspondent and hip-hop icon MC Lyte as celebrity announcer. The star-studded lineup of players includes Anthony Hamilton Jr., BlakeIANA, BossMan Dlow, Carter the Body, Cordae, Darryl Vega, DeVon Franklin, G Herbo, Hunxho, Jabari Banks, K Camp, Kalan.FrFr, Kemoy Martin, Pardison Fontaine, Rapsody, Rob49, Rome Flynn, Theo Barns, Zoe Spencer, and Zillionaire Doe. Matt Barnes, Offset, Ty Young, and Flau'jae will coach this year's game.
