Young Thug was not feeling the way Mariah The Scientist reacted when singer Tyler Watts sang to her.

The 18-year-old artist shared a video of himself singing his viral hit "Prettiest Girl" to Thugger's girl on Thursday, November 6. In the clip, you can see Watts crooning to Mariah while she dances to his vocals. Afterward, Mariah told him she was feeling the song and would save it to her phone. Young Thug saw the video and immediately tried to shut it down.

"Well she will be deleting this song," Thug wrote. "She def wonโ€™t be looking this up."

Tyler Watts has been on the rise for the past few years. The Miami-based singer began dropping music in 2021 as a teenager. After he signed to Jacquees' FYB Records, Watts racked up more notoriety thanks to his collaboration with Ball Greezy, "Peep Hole." Watts kicked off 2025 by dropping his hit single "Prettiest Girl," which got the "QueMix" treatment by Jacquees and his labelmate Issa. "Prettiest Girl" appears on Watts' latest project, Youngin Pt. 2, along with contributions from Major Nine and Issa.

The hype around Tyler Watts' single skyrocketed following his interaction with Mariah and Thug. Watts and Jacquees celebrated the success of "Prettiest Girl" and the release of his Youngin Pt. 2 project during an intimate event at FYB Records' studio in Miami on Friday night, November 7. During the event, Jacquees offered his thoughts on the situation.

"I know y'all seen my lil bruh singing to Mariah The Scientist," Jacquees said. "We love Thug. That's my big bro. That's Tyler big bro now. We appreciate Thug cuz he got it rollin' forreal!"
