The Milwaukee Police Department has confirmed that 12-year-old Sanuya Wooten-Powell and her 4-year-old brother, Nevin Powell, have been found safe after an urgent search. The siblings were reported missing on Tuesday night (December 2) when Nevin disappeared from his home. According to police, Sanuya, who was wanted on a felony warrant for battery to a police officer, was suspected of abducting her brother. Authorities believed she might have been armed, although the type of weapon was not specified.

The siblings were last seen traveling on foot in Milwaukee, near the intersection of 5th and Hadley. They were believed to be in a silver or light blue Hyundai Santa Fe without license plates. The police had urged the public to report any sightings of the pair.

The situation raised concerns due to Sanuya's age and the potential danger posed by the circumstances. Fortunately, both children were located unharmed. The Milwaukee Police Department continues to investigate the incident and has not released further details about the circumstances of their disappearance or recovery.

Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact the Milwaukee Police Department at 414-935-7252.
