The 2018 Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 performance went down in South Africa today. If you are unsure of what/who Global Citizen is, they are aiming to use "engaged citizens" (influencers) to help end extreme poverty by 2030
While there were some great names there such as Usher, Wizkid, Ed Sheeran, even VA's own Pharrell Williams, social media went crazy over Beyonce and Jay-Z for a couple of reasons. 1) it's Beyonce and Jay-Z. 2) Their live stream on Youtube cut off just as they were about to perform their it Apesh--. Now, the stream returned in enough time to catch Beyonce's next performance, but fans wanted BOTH Carters...not just one. Check out the reactions below:
