With no end in sight and now entering into tax season, the government shutdown could affect more than just the government workers.
President Trump is currently seeking $5.6 billion in funding for border wall. He remains adament the government will remain shutdown until he receives this funding and is ready and willing to keep it that way for years.
Well not only does that mean government families are unable to work or get paid, but this also means although you are required to file your taxes by 4/15/2019, you will not receive a refund until the government re-opens and as far as the IRS, they have no answers to provide to taxpayers at this time.
