According to TMZ, Los Angeles Police Department are currently considering a felony assault with a firearm charge against Tory Lanez for his involvement in the July shooting that left Megan Thee Stallion wounded. As of now, the only actual charge against Lanez is possession of a concealed weapon for the handgun they found in the vehicle. Tory was booked and released on bond the same day of the shooting and was even spotted out in McDonald's down in Orlando, Florida recently.
Following Tory's spotting, a close source put out the following statement regarding the rumors and the incident.: "Obviously Tory has not been deported and is self-quarantining with his family. This is a perfect example of false information being spread regarding this case, his whereabouts and his character. He's in good spirits and looks forward to having the truth come to light about that night and wishes nothing but the best for Meg."
Per TMZ, a close source connected to Tory says there were mitigating circumstances surrounding that night -- and based on what TMZ knows ... IF he's charged for it, Tory may say it was an accidental shooting.
As if this case hasn't been crazy enough, it's possible Meg's post from earlier day - that has since been deleted, could complicate the investigation as she shared details on how she was shot in her heal.
In her caption she says, "LOL what I have learned abt majority of the people on social media is y'all like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spreads quicker than the truth, and y'all really be believing the s--- YALL make up... I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. why would I lie abt getting shot? Why are y'all so upset that I don't wanna be in the bed sad ? Why y'all upset that I can walk ? I got my stitches out my feet like 2 weeks ago and I was ready to go celebrate WAP going number1... I usually don't address internet bulls--- but y'all people are so sick! God was really watching over me and I'm healing so well! Sorry I'm not a-- sad and miserable as a lot of y'all lol but ima keep being Megan Thee Mf STALLION"
According to TMZ, the problem she MAY face is the fact that she shared details she hadn't previously shared which was she was walking away. So, someone could say she didn't actually see who shot her if her back was turned.
Whew, this case is messy. Fits the theme of 2020, but luckily Thee Hot Girl, Megan Thee Stallion, confirmed she is healing and that's what we love to see!
