Tory Lanez Ordered to Stay Away From Megan Thee Stallion

As the case continues to unfold, Tory Lanez has been ordered by a judge to stay away from Megan Thee Stallion.

Tory appeared via phone today on a felony assault charge after Megan Thee Stallion was shot in her feet back in July. Tory was actually suppose to be arraigned today, but his lawyer, Shawn Holley, was granted a continuance. As a result of this continuance, Tory must stay at least 100 yards away from Thee Stallion and cannot, under any circumstances, contact her. He also has a bail set at $190k.

Coincidentally, this order comes on the same day Megan Thee Stallion spoke on the incident directly in a while. In a powerful interview with The New York Times, Megan discusses why she speaks up for black women saying "I’m not afraid of criticism, and “Protect Black women” should not be controversial." When it comes to being shot as a black woman, Megan says, "I was recently the victim of an act of violence by a man. After a party, I was shot twice as I walked away from him. We were not in a relationship. Truthfully, I was shocked that I ended up in that place."

It wouldn't be smart of Tory Lanez to ignore these orders in this case seeing as he is already facing 22 years and 8 months in prison if convicted. He also seems to have a strong belief that he WON'T be convicted.
