After a 2020 elevator "tussle" was leaked of Saweetie and Quavo, it seems this breakup was inevitable.
Social media is split between the two rappers and who seemed to be the aggressor in this video shown by TMZ. In the beginning, you can see Saweetie take a swing at Quavo and attempt to run off with an orange box. Quavo then slings Saweetie into the elevator where she stays down for the remainder of the elevator ride before limping out.
Just a few weeks prior, Saweetie announced their split on Twitter: "I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women."
Quavo didn't seem to see this announcement coming and he responded:
