Norfolk residents and neighboring cities are disappointed another year after the Ocean View St. Patricks Day Parade Has been canceled. This time we can't blame COVID. Instead, it's the crazy Virginia weather that has halted the plans this year. Inclement weather is expected to literally rain on the parade.
In a post on Facebook, Norfolk's Vice Mayor, Martin Thomas, announced the disappointing news: The Ocean View St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been canceled because of the weather. There will still be a party inside the Columbian Club from noon until 4pm for those who want to stop by!
Better 'luck' next year.
