The Spirit of Norfolk caught fire Tuesday afternoon while out to sea with more than 100 passengers on board. All passengers were quickly evacuated via another vessel and safely returned to Waterside. No injuries have been reported.
Hampton, Portsmouth, and Norfolk Fire and Rescue departments all responded to the fire. It's unclear what caused it, but we'll keep this post updated with details.
