Backstreet Boys Announce 1st Christmas Album Nearly 30 Years in the Making

Backstreets Back ALRIGHT!

Christmas in July? Well, sort of! The Backstreet Boys just announced their upcoming and very first Christmas album since the band was formed back in 1993!

A Very Backstreet Christmas is set to be released Oct. 14 and pre-orders are available right now. The 13-track album features a remake of WHAM!'s Last Christmas which you can actually hear in the video announcement posted to their Instagram account.

As far as what sparked this new project, Howie Dorough says, "Believe it or not COVID gave us the gift of time to work on this record," Dorough said. "We started working on this about two years ago. Normally, during regular times, we're always on tour. So, now that we have the time off we started working on it."

Makes it even more exciting that they'll be here in the 757 this week!
