Ye's Lawyers Drop Him As a Client, Unable to Reach Him

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, must've said new year, new number because his former legal team seems to be getting creative with reaching him.

Allegedly they are so annoyed with him at this point that they plan to take out a few newspaper ads just to inform him that they've dropped him as a client. Greenberg Traurig said in legal docs that it would need “alternative means” to formally alert him that it was no longer representing him in a New York lawsuit. The firm actually dropped him Nov. 30 2022, but says they suffered a "breakdown in communication" and as a result haven't been able to reach him at all.

“Given Ye’s public status, publication of the Withdrawal Order will likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication and provide an even greater likelihood of apprising Ye of the Order,” the firm wrote of Ye. They also say the firm “has dispatched process servers to the addresses it previously knew Ye to frequent, and has exhausted all methods of contacting Ye to arrange for service, including through Ye’s legal representatives and through Ye directly.”

He'll definitely get the message now. Although social media might've done the trick already.
