Did anyone think R. Kelly would be getting out of jail soon? He definitely will not. The singer will be behind bars for at least 30 years. TMZ reports R. Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison following his conviction for 9 federal charges, including sex crimes and human trafficking. He was in court on Wednesday to receive his sentencing. He knew he could get 10 years to life, but those federal prosecutors recommended no less that 25 years for his crimes. R. Kelly never took the stand in his trial and while there were people saying they never saw the singer abuse anyone, there were several witnesses that prosecutors brought in, who said opposite of the R. Kelly's ex-employees and associates. And what makes this even worse, is that is one case out of a few. R. Kelly is still facing another federal case in Illinois and a state trial in Minnesota. Yikes!
